The Alphacool ES Liquid GL50 (-40°C) is an industrial coolant for water cooling systems: a blue silicate liquid with a capacity of 1000ml, designed for temperatures between -40 °C and 90 °C. It must not be mixed with other liquids.

What it is for

Alphacool offers the liquid for powerful cooling in industrial systems, and says servers and workstations in particular benefit from these properties. Thanks to its composition, the coolant flows easily through all types of rubber and plastic parts, protects against deposits and requires little maintenance.

Top Performance

Alphacool says the thermal conductivity is reliable and at the highest level even at extreme temperatures. Foam formation is also not a problem, because the heavy-duty coolant effectively prevents this. Despite the blue color there are no deposits. According to Alphacool the liquid protects the system sustainably and thus ensures low maintenance and a long service life.

Protection

Alphacool says GL50 reliably protects the metals and alloys used in water cooling systems, and that the specially formulated liquid prevents high-temperature corrosion on aluminum surfaces. It still says to avoid a mix of pure copper and aluminum in the same cooling loop. Plastic and rubber components such as tubes do not react with the coolant, which is free of nitrates, phosphates and amines.
