Solid brass barb
The barbed fitting is precisely machined and the construction is solid brass. With both, Alphacool says, this connector ensures a secure and leak-proof connection for 6mm tubing. Its internal diameter is optimized for minimal flow resistance, supporting effective coolant circulation even where system configurations are complex.
Barb instead of compression
Hose barb fittings offer a compact, straightforward alternative to compression fittings. By saving space and highlighting more of the tubing, they are especially useful in tight installations or specialized setups. Despite their minimal form factor, Alphacool says they provide a secure hose grip and high flow capacity.
90° and rotatable
The 90° design is rotatable, and thanks to it the tubing can be routed with what Alphacool calls exceptional flexibility. The angle simplifies a clean loop layout and reduces mechanical stress on the tubing. It also enables space-saving installations, which Alphacool finds ideal for compact cases or densely packed rack systems.

What a run needs
A tube run takes two fittings, one at each end. The G1/4 outer thread screws into a G1/4 port and is tightened with an open-end wrench with a 16 mm width across flats. The barb takes tube with a 6 mm inner diameter. Other barbs for this tube size are in our 6mm barb fitting section.
