The Alphacool ES Flow and Temperature Indicator HighFlow with RPM-Signal is an inline sensor for water flow and water temperature with two G1/4 internal threads. It is very compact at 58 x 25 x 25 mm and can be integrated into any water circuit, whether the system is equipped with soft tube or HardTubes. Alphacool also calls the RPM signal a tacho signal.

Integration made easy
It does not matter where the sensor sits: simply screw the appropriate connections to it, then mount it at any position in the loop. Thanks to the two threads it takes any G1/4 part from our fittings section, as long as the thread is no longer than 5 mm. The manual adds that the sensor is directional. The inlet is marked with a symbol, and inlet and outlet are to be tightened securely.
Temperature sensor
The sensor used here is a classic NTC 10 kOhm thermistor. Its readable range is between -40 and 125 °C, and the manual gives the resistance over that range as 0.530 kΩ to 194.3 kΩ. The cable is 43.5 cm (435 mm) long and terminates in a typical 2-pin connector. Many mainboards now offer direct connection options for such sensors, so please check the manual of your mainboard. Of course there are also various external controllers that offer a connection for it (a controller with NTC connection).
Flow sensor
The flow sensor enables continuous measurement of the water flow within the loop and reports it as an RPM signal. Its 42cm sensor cable and the corresponding connectors are included in the scope of delivery. Note that the RPM figure becomes a flow figure only with Alphacool's measurement values for the water flow (L/h per RPM). What the loop needs
Two fittings for your tube size, one in each thread. A corresponding readout device is not included in the scope of delivery: the manual asks for a compatible reader with an NTC connection to read and display the temperature.

Notes
- Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can void the manufacturer's warranty.
