The Alphacool ES 2U Reservoir VPP/D5 with Flow/Temperature Sensor is a reservoir for 2U server cases that takes a D5 or VPP pump and measures 99.66 x 146.00 x 83.90 mm without it. The pump is not included. Flow and temperature sensors are integrated, and two quick-release fasteners sit on the front.

Optimized for servers
Alphacool calls this a versatile All-in-One reservoir, specially developed and optimized for use in 2U server cases. The device has a compact design, so it will take up as little space as possible in the case. Due to the quick-release fasteners on the front, the cooling system can be filled and vented quickly and easily. Alphacool says they have been placed there to ensure quick and easy maintenance. An illuminated window makes it possible to check the fill level in the system and keeps it easy to read at any time.
Integrated sensors
The temperature sensor covers a measuring range of -40 to 125 °C and is connected to the mainboard via a 2-pin connector. In addition, a flow sensor on a 3-pin connector enables continuous monitoring of the water flow. With the two together, the cooling system can be monitored continuously.
What the loop needs
The reservoir is compatible with pumps using the D5 format, such as the Alphacool VPP Apex, and the manual states that no pump is in the delivery. Other pumps of that format are in our D5 pumps section. The pump mounting ring and the screws in the box hold the pump. The loop connects to the two G1/4 threads on the rear side, one In and one Out.

Notes
- Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can void the manufacturer's warranty.
