The Alphacool ES 2U - 4 x 80 / Eisbaer LT / Eisstation 80 DC-LT 3600rpm is a prefilled water cooling set for a single CPU socket in a 2U server rack or workstation. It holds one Eisbaer LT CPU cooler with an integrated pump, an Eisstation 80 DC-LT reservoir with a DC-LT 3600 pump, and one 80mm Quad radiator for four 80 mm fans. Every kit is made to order, with the tubing cut to your system.

Cooling capacity

Alphacool states that this setup can dissipate up to 880 W, a figure it gives for an ambient temperature of 30 °C and a fan with 6500 rpm. The radiator takes four 80mm fans.

Radiator

The radiator is the NexXxoS UT60 Full Copper X-Flow 80mm Quad. Alphacool relies on full copper radiators for these sets and says they offer almost twice the thermal capacity of aluminum radiators. As a result, by its account, a significantly better cooling performance is achieved, which counts due to the extreme packing density in server racks and workstations.

Reservoir

The Eisstation 80 DC-LT reservoir includes an integrated pump top. Alphacool's server reservoirs are specifically adapted to the respective height unit of the racks (1U, 2U, 3U, 4U), and this set is the 2U version. In addition, all reservoirs offer a variety of connection options, so the placement in the server can vary and be adapted according to your needs.

Hoses and Connectors

The set is plumbed with TPV tubing, which withstands higher heat than basic PVC tubing and resists buckling long term. Alphacool describes the hoses as much more kink resistant than PVC, so kink protection springs are largely unnecessary. The connections include special locking collars for the tubing, and Alphacool credits that locking ring with a high-tensile strength above the usual water cooling fittings. Compared to standard water cooling components, you can feel secure and safe knowing all is secured from the start.

Pumps

Alphacool uses two pumps across these kits, the DC-LT 3600 industrial pump and the DDC310 pump. Both have been on the market for years, and their longevity is why we have chosen them. The pump of this set is the DC-LT 3600, a 12V DC model. The Eisbaer LT cooler brings its own integrated pump as well, which Alphacool calls a redundant system.

Prefilled

Alphacool's Enterprise Solution Sets are always delivered prefilled. The set does not have to be assembled or filled: you only have to place the system in your server rack.

Other versions

The same set also comes with an Eisblock XPX 1U water block in place of the Eisbaer LT, and with two Eisbaer LT coolers for a dual socket board.
