The Alphacool Eiszyklon Aurora LUX Digital RGB (92x92x25mm) is a 92 mm PWM fan that runs at 600 - 1800 rpm on a 4-pin PWM connector. Its 12 Digital RGB LEDs are controlled via a JST 3-pin connector, and Alphacool built the fan for 92 mm radiators.

Wide Control Range and Silence
Alphacool calls the Eiszyklon the ideal combination of silence and performance for a fan of its size. With a speed of 600 - 1800 rpm it offers what Alphacool says is a very high control range, which means the fan is also well suited for silent systems. The 11 fan blades have a steep angle of attack. Steep blades provide a high static pressure, so they are ideally suited for operation on radiators. Airflow and pressure of this kind, created in such a small space, are what makes it a fan for 92 mm radiators. Decouplers can be found directly on the frame as well: soft foam pads that reduce the transmission of vibrations to the case.
Addressable Digital RGB Lighting
The frame houses the LEDs and serves, in its entire length, as a diffuser, distributing the light evenly. This not only optimally illuminates the transparent blades, but the fan's surroundings too. Alphacool says this ensures a homogeneous illumination of the fan and the surrounding areas, and that the extensive lighting provides the right mood in the system.
How is the fan controlled?
Speed is set over the PWM cable. The lighting has a cable of its own, 50 cm long, with a splitter at the end. The splitter makes it possible to connect other Digital RGB products with a JST connector in series, and allows you to control every one of them at the same time via one controller connector. This helps to reduce cable chaos. Alphacool sums the Aurora LUX up as an all-around carefree package with what it calls perfect airflow and outstanding LED lighting. All functions run via just one cable on one controller, and in Alphacool's words it could hardly be simpler.
What it needs
The fan plugs into a 4-pin PWM fan header, and the lighting into a 5V Digital RGB header or one of the addressable RGB controllers. It runs on 12V.
