How it opens and closes

The closure is released by pulling the connecting ring, and in doing so the counterpart will automatically spring out of the quick release fastener. To connect the two pieces again, simply push them together until a clear click indicates a secure lock. Alphacool calls this action very easy and carefree, and says it requires no force.

How much water escapes when disconnecting

Thanks to what Alphacool calls an ingenious locking and sealing system and its N.D.S.L (no drip, no splash, no leak) technology, the loss of water when opening the fastener is minimal. Only a tiny drop of water escapes, so maintenance needs no full drain of the system.

What the loop needs
