The Alphacool Eiszapfen G1/4 45° Angled Rotatable Adapter Fitting - Black is a 45° angle adapter for water cooling loops, one fitting per pack. It has a rotatable G1/4 external thread on one side and a G1/4 female (internal) thread on the other side. A 45° angled connection like this usually finds its use where the G1/4 threads of two ports sit too close to each other and larger hose connections do not fit together next to one another.

The Eiszapfen series

Alphacool gives the format of this part as a 45° angle adapter and calls its Eiszapfen connector series the high-end version of its proven connections. By its account, all requirements that are placed on a connection are fulfilled here: High Flow, form, processing and coloring. It credits intransigence (uncompromising work) in development and production, which have helped make the icicles what they are. Two versions are available, brilliant chrome and matte, deep black, and Alphacool says both fit perfectly into any system.

Coating and logo

With a special process the coatings are firmly connected to the ground, the brass underneath, hence ensuring permanent, intense colors, so that peeling of the coating is inhibited. Each port now carries the Alphacool logo, making it unique in addition to its special shape.

O-rings

For those who like it colorful, Alphacool's text says three different colored O-Rings are included, while its scope of delivery lists the adapter alone. Under existing UV lighting these rings even glow: each one lights up in the appropriate color.

What the loop needs

The external thread screws into any G1/4 port, and the internal thread takes one G1/4 fitting from our fittings section.

Notes

• Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can void the manufacturer's warranty.
