The Alphacool Eiszapfen Connection Terminal 5-way G1/4 IT - Black Acetal is a cube-shaped distributor adapter for the water circuit with five G1/4 internal threads, one terminal per pack. Three sealing plugs made of acetal are included for the connections you leave closed.

Material and patented sealing plugs
In order to save as much weight as possible, the connection terminal is made entirely of acetal, resulting in a total weight of only 20 g in the technical data. Alphacool counts the three plugs in that figure. To keep the design of the adapter even on all sides, Alphacool uses the patented sealing plugs. These close flush to the surface and are already in use with some Alphacool products.
What can I do with it?
With such an adapter, parallel circuits can easily be realized. You can also use it to integrate a drain tap into the circuit, or to split and merge circuits. Of course, temperature sensors can be mounted on it too. Some builders simply use it as a fancy elbow. Alphacool calls the possibilities extensive and says the terminal offers versatile possibilities to expand the water circuit with different components.
What the loop needs
The terminal has no tube connection of its own. Each connection in use takes one of our fittings with a G1/4 male thread, and the three plugs in the box close the rest.
