The Alphacool Eiszapfen 13mm HardTube Compression Fitting 90° Rotary G1/4 for Acryl/Brass Tubes - Chrome - Four Pack is a set of four 90° compression fittings with a G1/4 thread for 13 mm hard tube. The threaded side is rotatable through 360°.

Model: 90° compression fitting 13mm
The G1/4 thread is on one side, and Alphacool says the fitting is thereby compatible with 95% of components. The other side fits a 13 mm acrylic or brass tube. In the middle the fitting is bent 90° to avoid complicated hose connections, and the threaded side is rotatable for maximum flexibility.
The Eiszapfen series
Eiszapfen is the connector series that Alphacool describes as the high-end execution of these tried-and-true fittings. By its account everything you want in a compression fitting is here: highflow, form, processing and color. Alphacool puts that down to a refusal to compromise in development and production, which it says has made the series into what it is. The fittings are available in brilliant chrome, as in this set, or a deep, matte black, and Alphacool says either will fit excellently into any system.
A special procedure binds the outer coating firmly to the surface. Alphacool says that is improving the longevity of the intense color and preventing any chipping or peeling of the coating. Every connector now has the Alphacool logo, which along with their distinctive shape makes them unmistakable, in Alphacool's words.
How it holds the tube
The union nut's corners are slanted. They allow the O-ring to be pressed firmly against the HardTube, ensuring it sits even more securely than before. Alphacool says this allows for greater safety in transport.
What a run needs
The thread screws into a G1/4 port, and a tube run takes two fittings, one at each end, so the set covers two runs. Matching tube is in our 13mm hard tubing section.

Notes
- Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can void the manufacturer's warranty.
