The Alphacool Eiskoffer Light - Bending Kit is a bending kit for HardTubes with an outer diameter of 13 or 16 mm. It holds mandrels, fitting stops, feeders and two 80 cm long bending inserts. All you need on top is a hot air gun and a saw to cut the HardTubes to the desired length.

What the kit is for
Fans of water cooling rely more and more on Alphacool's HardTubes, for aesthetic and for practical reasons. For the user the great challenge is that the tubing needs to bend before it will fit the water loop. To make this possible, the Eiskoffer "Light" Kit contains most of the tools required to bend the tubes quickly and effectively. Alphacool says this not only ensures a fantastic looking system, but also makes the assembly of the water cooling much easier.
Mandrels, stops and feeders
The kit contains a large circular mandrel and a multi-sheet mandrel. Between them it is easy to make any desired angles. All mandrels are designed for the two tube sizes named above.
The two fitting stops stand in for the fittings: these simulate the depth of the Eiszapfen fittings, so the correct length can be measured immediately during bending. The four additional feeders with pin stops can be used in a variety of ways. Each works either as a support, to create several radii simultaneously, or as an end stop point.
What a bend needs
All feeders and stops can be screwed onto any wooden board. The matching wood screws are in the set. So that bending is done correctly, a bending insert goes inside the tube first. The two inserts are available for tubes with 10 and 13 mm inner diameter. Tubes to match are in our 13mm hard tubing and 16mm hard tubing sections. The functions of all included tools are described in detail in the manual enclosed with the kit.
Storage
The entire kit comes packed in a sturdy cardboard box. All tools are embedded in thick foam so that they are safely stowed away and can be neatly packed back at the end of the work. Store the whole kit in its desired place, knowing every tool is organized and ready for your next project.
