Details
The Alphacool Eisbaer Pro ES 80mm Triple HPE + 3x ES PWM Fans is an AIO liquid cooler made for server and workstation processors. It pairs an 80 mm Triple radiator with three 80 mm ES PWM fans. The set is not compatible with servers in the 1U and 2U form factor. It mounts on AMD AM4, AM5, SP3, SP6, sTR5, sWRX8 and TR4 and on Intel LGA 1700, 1851, 2011, 2011-3, 3647 and 4189. The loop arrives pre-assembled and pre-filled, with the DC-LT 2 pump inside the cooler. The same cooler comes with an 80 mm Quad radiator and four fans.

Fit
The box holds one mounting set for AMD and one for Intel. On LGA 3647 the manual shows a bracket for each version, Narrow & Square. For Intel LGA 4677 Alphacool names its LGA 4677 Mounting Bracket (article no.: 13764), which we carry as the XPX Pro/Eisbaer Pro LGA 4677 Mounting Bracket. LGA 4710 is marked optional on Alphacool's compatibility list as well, with no bracket named for it.
Thermal compound (Subzero 16 W/mK) is included. Before mounting, the manual has you clean the old paste off the CPU, apply a pea-sized blob and spread it into an even, thin layer. Tighten the knurled nuts hand-tight only, without tools.
Enterprise Solutions parts
This is a professional all-in-one water cooling solution, and all components are from Alphacool's Enterprise Solutions water cooling range. Alphacool calls the NexXxos 80mm Triple full copper radiator extremely powerful and says the AIO water cooling system features high-throughput 80 mm ES fans, with which the radiator is equipped. In Alphacool's words the cooler is easy to install and offers the performance of a custom loop.
High-performance full copper radiator
Alphacool says its 80mm NexXxoS radiators have been specifically designed for server racks and workstations. The radiator has special M3 mounting holes on the top and bottom and a height of just 80 mm.
The copper cooling fins are extremely thinly coated compared to other manufacturers, according to Alphacool, in order to not reduce the cooling performance: a thick coating acts as insulation. At 10 FPI the fin spacing has been optimally chosen, in its words, so the fins are close enough to provide plenty of cooling surface area, but far enough apart to not impede the airflow. Additionally, all cooling fins are covered with flaps to ensure controlled air turbulence, allowing the flowing air to better absorb heat and carry it away.
Cooler base
On the respective processors the cooler base covers the entire surface area. Its cooling fins span around 55 x 42 mm, a surface area Alphacool describes as surpassing all known processor cores. Alphacool's heading for this is "Optimal Cooling": it ensures that all CPU hotspots are directly and optimally cooled. There are a total of 58 cooling fins on the base, each 0.4 mm thick and spaced 0.4 mm apart. The base itself is only 3 mm thick, allowing the heat to quickly reach the water and be carried away.
Pump
The cooler uses the very compact DC-LT 2 pump, which Alphacool calls reliable. Alphacool says it provides enough power to include additional components such as GPU water coolers or radiators in the water loop.
TPV hoses
The hose connectors come from the normal DIY segment and use a G1/4 thread, making them easily replaceable. Alphacool calls the TPV hoses high-quality. The hose does not contain plasticizers and, unlike classic PVC hoses, does not deform at high temperatures.
How to connect everything
A pre-filled cooler needs no fittings of its own. The manual has you connect the pump directly to the mainboard, either to a 3-pin or a 4-pin header. The fillport on the cooler can be used to refill it if necessary. For replacement hose connections on the cooler, the manual gives a maximum diameter of 18 mm.

Notes
- When you refill or extend the loop, use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can void the manufacturer's warranty.
