The Alphacool Eisbaer LT92 CPU - black (without Fan) is an AIO liquid cooler with a 92 mm radiator for AMD AM4 and AM5 and Intel LGA 1700 and 1851, among the sockets listed below. It has been launched especially for small form factor cases: the pump unit is 40 mm high and the hoses are 25 cm long. Note: this AIO unit does not include a fan, so add one from our 92mm fans.

Fit
Compatibility follows Alphacool's current list, which marks none of the sockets above as optional. One mounting set for AMD and one for Intel are in the box. Alphacool's manual, written for the whole Eisbaer LT line, also names LGA 1155, which the current list does not. The manual offers a mounting kit for 2011-3 Narrow ILM separately. On AM2 to AM5 the manual has you use the original backplate of the mainboard.
Thermal compound is included. The manual has you remove any remaining thermal paste from the CPU, apply a pea-sized blob to the center and spread it into an even, thin layer of less than 0.5 mm. Tighten the screws crosswise and hand-tight only, without tools.
Built for SFF cases
The space in SFF cases is extremely limited, therefore this cooler differs in several points from the normal Eisbaer LT. Its cooling block and pump unit is only 40 mm high, which means it is smaller than the IO panel on the mainboard. Alphacool says this ensures that it fits into almost every compact case on the market. The hose length is only 25 cm, which Alphacool calls optimal for small cases in which the laying of long hoses can become a torture. This is one of the reasons why Alphacool does not use the usual quick release fasteners here. Due to the compact dimensions of such cases, those fasteners can often be too cumbersome. "Perfect for SFF cases" is Alphacool's heading for all this.
Uncompromising with the materials
As is usual with Alphacool, the radiator is made of copper and comes from the NexXxoS series, which Alphacool calls well-known. The antechambers (prechambers), the cooling fins and the water channels are made entirely of copper. Alphacool states that the heat capacity of copper is almost twice as high as that of aluminum. It finds this particularly noticeable when the radiator is driven to its performance limit. When a comparable aluminum radiator fails, the copper radiator really gets going, in its words. The cold plate of the cooler is also made of nickel-plated copper. The TPV hoses and TPV connections with G1/4 thread come from the Enterprise Solution series for servers and workstations.
Pump
The DC-LT 2 pump is already used in the normal Eisbaer, the Eisbaer Aurora and the other Eisbaer LT CPU AIO water coolers. Alphacool says its silent capabilities have already been confirmed in various tests of its sister models. The pump rotates at 2600 rpm and generates no significant vibrations. Alphacool describes the DC-LT as a powerful pump that is also used for larger loops and offers a high flow rate.
Alphacool sums the cooler up as the perfect partner for SFF housing cases, specially designed for them. It says the compact 92 mm full copper radiator offers more than enough power for powerful processors with an appropriate fan.
How to connect everything
The cooler arrives as a closed loop with its hoses and fittings mounted, and Alphacool's data lists the liquid in it, so it needs no fittings of its own. The radiator takes one 92 mm fan on one side or two on both sides, held by the M3x30 fan screws. The M3x5 screws mount the radiator to the case. The pump has a 3-pin connector for power, which the manual connects directly to the mainboard.

Notes
- Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can void the manufacturer's warranty.
- If the pump is unusually loud at first, the manual blames air bubbles from transport and suggests tipping the case back and forth a little. Mount the radiator above the water block; after around 12 hours of operation the air should be gone.
