The Alphacool Eisbaer GPX Extension Set is a pair of 32 cm long hoses in 11/8 format for an Eisbaer or Eiswolf GPX-Pro cooler loop. It connects a GPU block, another radiator or an additional cooler to the loop. Two hose ends carry straight connectors with male G1/4 threads, and the other two carry quick-release locks.

What the set adds
Alphacool also calls it the Eisbaer Quick-Connect Extension Kit. With it, expanding the loop of an Eisbaer AIO with additional components is simple. For example, it’s easy to add any other components that have G1/4 threads.
Hoses
The kit consists of two hoses, both encased in anti-kink springs. This prevents bending in the hoses, and thereby interruptions to the flow of water. Alphacool’s line on that: “Safety is our top priority.”
Connections
Two ends have straight male connectors, pre-installed on the hoses. The only thing you need to do with these is screw them into the corresponding threads of the part you add. On the other end are the ends of two quick-release safety locks from the Alphacool HF series, just like the ones found on the AIO units.
What the loop needs
The set is hoses and connections only, so it takes an additional product for extension. That means all you have to do is open the quick-release locks on the cooler and screw them together with the corresponding parts in this kit. After it’s been filled, of course, your loop is complete. Notes
- Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can void the manufacturer’s warranty.
