Replacement or extension
Alphacool calls this high-quality part a perfect replacement or practical extension, and the ideal solution when a reservoir is in need of a visual upgrade or a functional adjustment. Does a Core 200 no longer look so good because its tube has become scratched? The new one will give it a new shine. Do you have the smaller reservoir and want more? Then this tube is the way to customize the size and expand the functionality. Either way you get a new look for your water cooling system, which Alphacool describes as getting the best out of it. For a Core 100 that keeps its size, the 60x84mm replacement tube offers exactly that.
What the swap needs
No problem, says Alphacool: simply unscrew the scratched or too small tube and fit this one. The pump base and the cover stay, and you can continue to use both without any problems. Alphacool says this saves you time and effort, with an impressive result, whether you easily swap like for like or upgrade. Its technical data lists the Core 100 and the Core 200 under compatibility, and these are the two options.
Notes
- Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can void the manufacturer's warranty.
