What it is for

Alphacool lists this part as the Cape Coolplex Base POM 3 Bar and describes it as the base for industrial applications with high pressures. It takes the place of the bottom cap on the expansion tank and carries all three threads.

What the reservoir needs

Alphacool's note is plain: delivery without O-ring. The cap needs the O-ring of the one it replaces, or a new one.
