Alphacool Apex Fillport - Black (13466)

The Alphacool Apex Fillport - Black is a fill port for the case wall with a G1/4 inner thread, one port with its stop plug and nut per pack. It gives a water loop a simple but effective opening for easy filling, and it mounts in a 20 mm hole.

Flat design

The flat design makes the port unobtrusive. Alphacool says it therefore fits in with most cases and blends into the overall look without being disruptive. The included stop plug screws in almost all the way, so it closes almost flush. You get a port that doesn't protrude and, as Alphacool puts it, looks like it belongs to the case instead of being retrofitted.

Material

The fillport and the included nut are made of solid brass, making them very sturdy in Alphacool's words. It calls the color coating durable and firmly bonded to the surface, preventing scratches or chipping.

Mounting

To mount it, drill a hole with a diameter of 20 mm anywhere in the case. The fillport is then inserted and screwed tight with the enclosed nut, so it sits tightly and securely. Please note that the fillport should be the highest point in the water cooling system.

What the loop needs

Under Compatibility Alphacool lists G1/4 connections. The connection of the port is a G1/4 inner thread, so a G1/4 fitting screws into it.
