I was a little skeptical about getting this waterblock as there really weren't any reviews on it.
The instructions are ok for assembly. It's just a normal tear down, and cleaning to add the water block.
I used thermal grizzly thermal paste instead of the supplied ones.
I used thermalright extreme thermal pads instead of the supplied ones. I saw a person had complained about the supplied ones not doing great.
Temps:
GPU: Max 47 C
GPU hot spot 60 C
Memory Thermal Junction: 62 C
Prior with repadding with same pads and thermal grease at a light undervolt at 1905mhz.
GPU: 69 C max
GPU hot spot: 83 C
Memory Thermal Junction: 86 C max.
These are all max temps without any under volt and letting the 3090FE run wild with voltage.
The extra money spent on thermal pads was worth it.
Lighter games and older games, the GPU doesn't even break 30 C, and Warzone in a warm room the GPU at 2K unlimited FPS usually tops out at 46 C, or normal room temp around 44 C.
I'm incredibly impressed with these results.
The lighting looks good.
It is a heavy and premium feeling. The pictures don't actually do it justice. It is big.
The backplate looks nice.
It's not really made for vertical mounting as the inlet would be on the top, and outlet on the bottom with plenty of spots for air bubbles to get trapped and would be very difficult to bleed.
Modmymods packaged it well, and the shipment was fast.
I'm very happy with this purchase and hope this review helps.
