The black anodized Aluminium cooler manages to find the perfect compromise between passive cooling and watercooling of RAM modules. The versatility and capability of this cooler is already shown by the fact that on its own, without connection to a watercooling loop, the cooling performance is sufficient to offer massively improved temperatures which greatly lengthens the lifespan of the memory modules. When connected to the watercooling loop the cooling performance is kicked up to a whole new dimension which offers incredible overclocking potential without having to worry about heat issues.
The inner sides of the cooler are equipped with thermal pads which ensures perfect contact to and heat transfer from the memory modules. Another great thing about the integrated thermal pads is the fact that no additional pads have to be bought - another aspect of this cooler which saves you money!
To install the cooler on a RAM module one cooling plate of the cooler is removed by loosening 3 screws, the protective foil on the thermal pads is removed and the RAM module is inserted. Simply install the cooling plate with the screws again and you are set!
Even for single-sided memory modules a solution is included: An additional thermal pad which is self-adhesive on one side is included which evens out the height difference.
The cooler is integrated into the cooling loop with barbed fittings which are designed for tubing with an inner diameter of 8mm. Of course this cooler can be used on neighbouring memory slots!
