Filter element for installation in the reservoir of the Compact 600 pump module of the airplex modularity system. The filter element keeps out foreign particles and dirt as well as improves the inlet flow of water to the reservoir. This filter effectively reduces the vortex formation in the reservoir especially with high flow rates, virtually eliminating the problem of air being sucked back into the pump.
